This is an essay I have read many, many times. As Li Lu himself said, 「如获至宝，反复研读，每读一次都有新的收获」. It was only after repeated readings that I came to recognize its value. As Poirot put it, “Of facts, I keep nothing to myself. But to everyone his own interpretations of them.”. The same text, different people understand differently; the same person at different stages of life will understand it differently too. Why? I think it is because I now have a better grasp of 「价值」— the philosophy that Buffett and Munger practice. That understanding, in turn, has allowed me to appreciate Li Lu’s essay more deeply.
